“Trauma” is a word that has significantly risen to prominence in recent years. Its impact is now known unequivocally to impact health and wellbeing throughout life.

Dr. Mike Hutchings has worked extensively with military and first responder victims of trauma, formally diagnosed with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). He has an engaging presentation and teaching style. His approach has now broadened to trauma survivors of both domestic and systemic abuse, as well as survivors of neglect. Over four keynotes he will teach on the effects of trauma and will equip conference attendees on how to heal and serve trauma survivors.

The Saturday afternoon will offer two sets of 85 minute breakout sessions on everything from the healing benefits of movement and art, to helping youth deal with anxiety and depression, and professionals on the very latest mind-body neuroscience.

Target audience: Helping professionals (clergy, physicians, psychologists) and trauma sufferers (first responders, veterans) and those from childhood abuse (physical, emotional, sexual and verbal or neglect).
