On October 7, 2023, Noa was taken hostage by Hamas while attending the Nova Music Festival. The image of her abduction became one of the most widely recognized symbols of that painful day. After months in captivity, her rescue brought a rare and profound moment of hope to Israel and the global Jewish community.
At the time of her abduction, Noa was a student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). Following her rescue, she has spoken at events, international forums, and in the media, advocating for the release of the remaining hostages and urging governments to take action. In 2025, Noa was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in recognition of her courage and resilience.
Noa will share her personal story, one of unimaginable hardship, resilience, and ultimately, miracles.
