Grab Your Plaid and Head for Memory Lane! The Nova Scotia Forest Festival features live horse logging demonstrations with Ruby and Dan, a matched pair of Clydesdale-crosses. Enjoy axe throwing with world champion lumberjack, Darren Hudson, hands-on activities & heritage demonstrations for all ages. It’s a showcase of the many ways Nova Scotians connect to our forests for their livelihood, housing, recreation, food, and heritage. Rain or shine. Cookhouse meals will be available on-site. $7 Adults (age 18 & under – $2).
