Some of life’s great discoveries happen in a car, alone with your own thoughts… and a radio.

Nathaniel Wood grew up in the Annapolis Valley in a Christian home. He has a wonderful wife and 3 precious children. Spending a lot of his time on the road due to work, he appreciates having a Christian station to listen to. He said, “Inspire FM becomes like a faith companion. Like a brother sharpening iron with iron… building me up.”

He related one incident that still brings him chills. After a hard day, he was driving home feeling anxious.

A car pulled in front of him with a Jesus bumper sticker with a handprint. At that exact moment, the lyrics on the radio said, “My hands are holding you.” “I just thought, ‘God, I need you now,’” he said. “And He spoke through that moment.” Truthfully, there’s no better way to share Nathaniel’s story, than the letter he sent to the station. He wrote: “I remember the exact moment when I first encountered Inspire FM. I was driving along feeling discouraged with the lack of wholesome content on any of the local stations until I hit the seek button and found your station. I was overjoyed when the music was not only wholesome and centered on the love of Christ, but it also sounded great!

The joy did not stop there; As I continued listening over the next couple of hours and days, I realized this station also had a myriad of gifted speakers delivering timely messages. I found wisdom to encourage me in every domain…, I hit the radio jackpot! The days quickly turned into several weeks, then months, and now over a decade later, I am still thirsty for the content of this station as it refocuses my heart and mind on the love of God. This leads me to worship him on my drive home from work, picking up groceries, running errands, etc. …turning the station on, has never failed to provide nourishment and encouragement while strengthening my relationship with Jesus. This is why ever since 2013 I have supported this station… It’s a station willing to maintain its integrity in a chaotic world where a message of hope is paramount. A living hope. I want to give a sincere thank you to everyone who has been a part of this station, and the faithful listeners who tune in and support its efforts. It is worth it. You are worth it.”
