Dear friends,
2025 was one of the most difficult growing seasons Atlantic Canada has ever faced. Severe drought and intense heat stretched every farm to its limits. Yet even in the middle of those challenges, God’s hand was unmistakable. Through His provision, 5000 Farms produced over 128,000 lbs of vegetables and protein for the regional food security network — far more than we ever expected under such conditions.
We are deeply grateful for the partners who helped make this possible. Inspire.FM has been a tremendous blessing to our ministry. Through radio ads, interviews, and ongoing spotlights, they have helped thousands of listeners discover the mission of 5000 Farms. Their support has expanded awareness, strengthened community engagement, and opened doors for new volunteers, donors, and prayer partners.
As we look toward the 2026 season, we sense God leading us into a new chapter. Our goal is to secure a permanent farm site — a place where this ministry can grow, stabilize, and serve families for generations. In the meantime, we are proceeding with our current operations and scheduling to grow over 275,000 lbs of food, all of which will go directly to the food security network. To make this possible, we are trusting God to help us meet a $300,000 ministry budget for the year.
We invite you to pray with us, stand with us, and sow into the work ahead. Together, we can continue feeding our region, strengthening food security, and sharing God’s love in practical, life‑giving ways.
As you consider supporting 5000 Farms, we also ask you to lift up Inspire.FM. This station has been a faithful partner in sharing the gospel and amplifying ministries like ours. They rely on the prayers and generosity of listeners to stay on the air. Without their presence, our region would lose an important voice for hope, truth, and the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray for their strength and provision — and, as God leads, consider supporting them financially so their work for the Kingdom continues.
