Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Teen Challenge Atlantic Gala Dinner in Moncton, NB. It was one of those evenings that stays with you long after the event is over. Not because of the decorations, the room, or even the fundraising itself, but because of what you could feel happening underneath it all.
The parable of the talents (Matthew 25) reminds us that what is entrusted to us is meant to be multiplied. The servant who received five talents did not simply preserve them, he leveraged them. And the result was increase. Kingdom stewardship is not passive. It is purposeful.
