Spring has a way of recalibrating my soul. As the green grass starts to reappear, the daylight lingers a little longer, and what once looked barren begins to look full of life again. It is not just a change in weather. It is a quiet reminder that renewal is built into creation itself.

Every year, without fail, what seemed dormant comes back to life. And that same pattern speaks directly into our own lives. There are seasons when discouragement settles in, when fatigue lingers, or when doubt begins to take root. In those moments, it can feel like nothing is changing.

But Scripture tells a different story.

In Isaiah 43:19, God says, “See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” Even when we cannot see it yet, God is already at work beneath the surface, preparing something new.

And in 2 Corinthians 5:17, we are reminded, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here.” Renewal is not just something we observe in the trees and plants each spring. It is something we are invited to experience personally.

God specializes in bringing life out of dry places. He creates hope where there was discouragement and purpose where there was uncertainty.

So as this new season begins, pause and take it in. Let the evidence of spring do more than catch your eye. Let it anchor your faith.

God has not forgotten you. He is still at work. And He is more than able to make all things new, including you.
